Buzzing trip to VGP Marine Kingdom!

Our M2 Montessori kiddos just had the most fantabulous day ever at VGP Marine Kingdom, Chennai! Imagine little explorers, wide-eyed, jaws dropped, swimming (okay, walking) through an ocean of fishy wonders! From neon-bright fishes to the “Whoa, is that a real shark?!” moments – they were hooked from the start!

The fun didn’t stop with the fish. Oh no! There was a super-duper lunch party that brought kids together for some serious munching (and giggling) with their friends and teachers.

The cherry on top? Our little champs even bonded with children from other environments. or should we say, making waves in the friendship pool?

Major salute to our amazing facilitators, the ever smiling and supportive support staff, and the reliable bus Anna’s for driving us safely up and down cheerfully.

It was a whale of a day filled with smiles, teamwork, and just the right splash of craziness!

Learning to care for a plant comes under Care of Environment activity. The initial experience of watering a plant is a significant milestone in a child’s life. It fosters an understanding that plants are living entities that depend on water for their survival. This act of watering plants imparts lessons in caring, nurturing, and developing empathy towards other living beings. Within the Montessori environment, children employ appropriately sized watering cans to tend to the plants. Dusting or leaf polishing, removal of weeds and the practice of pruning are essential aspects of teaching a child the comprehensive care of plants, extending beyond mere watering. The skill of plant care can be cultivated within a child’s initial home environment, indirectly promoting the child’s long term involvement in society by nurturing and growing plants.
